Travel Clinic
Compare pharmacy travel clinics for destination-specific vaccination advice and private travel vaccinations.
Many larger pharmacies run a travel health clinic offering a consultation to assess which vaccinations and antimalarial medication you need for your trip, based on your destination, itinerary, and health history. Some travel vaccines — such as hepatitis A, typhoid, and cholera — are often available free from your GP surgery, while others, including yellow fever, rabies, Japanese encephalitis, and some meningitis strains, are almost always private and only available from a registered yellow fever centre or travel clinic. Book at least 6-8 weeks before you travel, as some vaccine courses need multiple doses spaced weeks apart.

Ratings and rankings are our editorial opinion, based on our publishedmethodology — they are not medical advice and pharmacies cannot pay to change a score. Where a pharmacy has no reviews we show "Not yet rated" — we never invent scores.Listings labelled Featured orReferral partner are paid placements; payment affects visibility only, never ratings or match results. We may receive a fee when you send a private-service enquiry.Private service prices are indicative — always confirm directly with the pharmacy.

How much does a travel vaccination consultation cost?▼
Many pharmacies offer a free travel health risk assessment, though some charge £15-£25 for a full consultation. Vaccine costs are separate and charged per dose.
Which travel vaccines are free on the NHS?▼
Hepatitis A, typhoid, and cholera are usually available free from your GP surgery if travelling to a country where they're recommended. Yellow fever, rabies, Japanese encephalitis, and most other travel vaccines are private-only.

At least 6-8 weeks before departure, since some vaccines require more than one dose spread over several weeks to give full protection.
