Pick My Pharmacy exists so UK patients can compare GPhC-registered pharmacies without treating a directory as a clinic. This policy is the contract for every profile, guide, answer, calculator, and price table: how we collect facts, what triggers a correction, who decides, and what money cannot buy.
What is Pick My Pharmacy — and what is it not?
Pick My Pharmacy is an independent comparison and directory service run by Elite Digital AI Solutions Ltd (company no. 17250017). We list community and distance-selling pharmacies, compare NHS services and private treatment-service prices, and publish decision guides. We are not GPhC-registered, we do not sell or supply medicines, and nothing here is a prescription, a diagnosis, or a recommendation to start or stop treatment.
If you need clinical advice, speak to a pharmacist or GP. For urgent medical help call NHS 111, or 999 in an emergency. To confirm a pharmacy is registered, use the official register at pharmacyregulation.org — not our page alone.
How are pharmacy listings verified?
Every listed pharmacy is checked against official UK public data. We state the source and the capture date on the record. Absence of a field is not evidence of absence: we never render “unregistered”, “unscored”, or “unverified” from a blank value. We render why the field is empty instead.
- GPhC premises register: premises number, registration status, and superintendent pharmacist where the snapshot includes them. Unregistered entities are not listed.
- NHS ODS: organisation codes, addresses, and NHS service flags imported from official Organisation Data Service feeds where available.
- Northern Ireland: we do not yet list PSNI-registered community pharmacies. NI city pages show GPhC online/distance-selling pharmacies that deliver to NI — the page says so.
- Private prices: captured from a pharmacy’s own published price list when we have checked them, with a date. Indicative brand averages are labelled as such and never marked up as an Offer.
Who writes the pages, and is this first-hand experience?
Named author: Kaiser Khan. Desk research, not a mystery shop of every branch. We have not stayed overnight in a clinic, dispensed your barcoded pack, or watched your consultation. Where a page could be read as experience, it should say the verdict is built from named sources checked on a date. If we cannot source a number today, we do not publish the number.
How are ratings firewalled from money?
Pharmacies can pay for labelled visibility (featured placement, referral partnerships, partner offers). Payment never changes a Pharmacy Score, match ranking, or editorial verdict. Sponsored outbound links carry a visible label and rel="sponsored nofollow noopener". Claiming a listing is free. The free or official option is named when it wins — including NHS Pharmacy First and NHS prescriptions versus a private alternative.

Elite Digital AI Solutions Ltd also operates Sanara Health (an affiliate clinic-comparison site: not a pharmacy, does not sell medicines, may earn commission from partner pharmacies) and Pick My Accountant. Those are separate sites with their own disclosures. Pick My Pharmacy remains a GPhC pharmacy directory and does not sell medicines.
What will you not publish?
- Invented reviews, star ratings, opening hours, phone numbers, or GPhC numbers.
- Prescription-only medicines advertised to the public as products you can “buy now” — we compare regulated treatment services, in line with the MHRA Blue Guide.
- Self-serving

How is AI used on this site?
AI may help with drafting, navigation, and triage helpers. It does not diagnose, prescribe, or replace a GPhC register check. Calculators that we advertise as interactive must actually run in the browser; an advertised dead tool is treated as a defect. Machine-readable copies (llms.txt, markdown mirrors, MCP tools) must match the HTML — a stale machine file is worse than none.
What triggers a public correction?
A material factual error: wrong GPhC number, a price we published as verified that the pharmacy no longer lists, a closed premises still shown as active, or an NHS charge figure that has changed. Register snapshot refreshes and price-benchmark updates are also logged even when they are not “errors”. Cosmetic copy edits are not logged.
Who decides: the editorial owner (Kaiser Khan). Verified corrections are made within five working days of a usable report and recorded at /corrections/. Email hello@pickmypharmacy.co.uk with the URL, the claimed error, and a source.
Can a pharmacy influence coverage?
A pharmacy can claim its listing, supply opening hours and verified prices, and buy labelled placement. It cannot pay to raise a score, bury a competitor, or keep a GPhC mismatch unpublished. If a listing is wrong, the fix is a correction — not a commercial negotiation.
Who should skip this site?
Skip Pick My Pharmacy if you need a pharmacist to examine you today, you want us to fulfil a prescription, or you are looking for the cheapest unregulated seller. Use a registered pharmacy, NHS 111, or 999. We are the comparison layer, not the till.
