How do I find a pharmacy in England?

Open a city hub below, search a postcode on the directory, or use Compare. Community branches show a town; distance-selling pharmacies that deliver nationwide are listed as UK-wide.

We never invent opening hours or review scores. Confirm the service you need (Pharmacy First, travel clinic, delivery) with the pharmacy before you travel.

How do I check a pharmacy in England is GPhC-registered?

Open the profile, copy the GPhC premises number, search it on pharmacyregulation.org, and match the address.

Every Great Britain community pharmacy must be on that register. A missing number on our card is not proof the shop is unregistered — it means we have not mapped it yet. Never send ID to a site you cannot match to the register.

How do NHS prescriptions work in England?

NHS items cost £9.90 at every English contractor — pharmacies cannot set their own NHS fee.

Nominate one pharmacy in the NHS App so repeats route there. Pharmacy First (England’s seven pathways) is a separate commissioned service — an NHS dispensing contract is not proof a branch offers it today. Private travel vaccines and earwax removal are priced by the pharmacy — typical ranges on this site are editorial, not a live quote.
